We are an Atlanta, GA based engineering company focused on building innovative and efficient, secure cellular based technology for IoT devices. Our technology is secured by patents. We partner with hardware providers and value added resellers.
Our initial market focus was automotive but we transitioned to other verticals realizing our patented technology is universal to cellular based offerings. Our current products are a variety of tracking locators plus the Multipurpose IoT gateway.
About us
M2MD Technologies, Inc. was founded by Chuck Link in 2015 to focus on challenges of Security and Connectivity facing the IoT world. Previously, Mr. Link was the Chief Technology Officer and a co-founder of Hughes Telematics, Inc. (now known as Verizon Connect) where he served as the Chief Technology Officer from the company's inception through its acquisition by Verizon. Mr. Link was responsible for the technology foundation of the company and focused on vehicle connectivity, network architecture and strategy for the company's OEM telematics offerings.
While at HTI and Verizon Connect, Mr. Link was always challenged with several issues: slow speed of connecting remote devices; large amount of data required for the security solution of TLS handshakes; and, process of enrolling telematics subscribers whether first or 10th car owner. The first mission of M2MD Technologies was to engineer solutions for these issues. After developing and patenting these solutions, M2MD is now working with partners to implement our revolutionary software into leading edge hardware devices using a rapid porting technology.
Our current key focus is on asset tracking where we can offer location acquisition 'on demand' eliminating the data hungry breadcrumb technology which contributes to longer battery life and lower operational costs.
